The invisible middle

Not in crisis.
Not quite okay.
Not alone.

You show up. Meet the deadlines. Keep things moving. But beneath “I’m fine,” there’s a mental load that too often gets carried alone.

HeadCase exists for that space in between. Through real stories and structured, facilitated peer conversations, we build connection before burnout or crisis takes over.

Lived experience is our starting point. Connection is the work.

Sometimes, “me too” changes everything.

“For once, I didn’t feel like I had to have everything figured out. I could just be a person in the room.”

What is narrative-based peer support?

It starts with lived experience. A speaker shares a real mental health story, followed by a facilitated conversation and peer reflection. The focus is human connection, not diagnosis or clinical treatment.

Who are HeadCase sessions for?

We work with workplaces seeking stronger culture and resilience, and community members looking for genuine, stigma-free connection in the invisible middle between being “fine” and being in crisis.

What happens in a workplace session?

Our core 60–90 minute session includes a carefully prepared lived-experience speaker, a moderated fireside discussion, and guided peer reflection tailored to your workplace.
